Sounds funny na .But it is possible .Microsoft saying that 512 MB ram is minimum requirement for installing Vista.But Here Im introducing a new tutorial on how to run vista in your 256 mb machine.
For this you had to crack the windows Vista memcheck file 'winsetup.dll' which is located at the 'sources' folder of your VISTA installation CD
Ok lets start th game .First of all download the following crack vista_nomem
Now copy the whole VISTA DVD to your hardisk.Then copy the downloaded crack "vista_nomem" to sources dir in your vista backup copy(note:copy in your hardisk)
Now click Crack "You DOne it" You will get a message " Finished " .And now you get the 256mb VISTA .Now burn it into a bootable DVD n have the fun.
NOTE:This works only for Windows VISTA Starter,Home premium & Home basic
NOTE:Dont play this trick upon VISTA Ultimate your system will crawl for memory ha ha...
